Sepia Tones

Welcome stampers!

We are a group of stampers who get together weekly in blog form to create with a theme each week. This is our weekly Create with Stamping Friends Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week is sepia tones, shades of beige and tan.

Admittedly, this sepia had me stumped. But, a little internet research and this is what I created –

Stunning, I must say!

I started with a Pecan Pie watercolor wash for the Fluid 100 watercolor paper background. I was surprised how even I was able to get it. I am not into watercoloring. I let that dry then chose my stamp set, You Are Remarkable.

I stamped the flower in Early Espresso, let it dry then began to color it with Pecan Pie Blends.

I added the sentiment, byt the card still needed a little something. The dots for the ground and then the dots for clouds seemed to add what the card needed.

Lastly the flying bee and bow!
