Welcome stampers!
Thank you for joining us for our weekly Create with Stamping Friends Saturday blog hop!
Our theme this week is the spotlight technique!
I am glad! I haven’t done this technique in a long time! It was fun to revisit it. I did mine with a bit of a twist –
Instead of a circle, I used a heart!
I stamped the flower grouping in Sweet Sorbet on Basic White and set it aside. I stamped the flower grouping again in Black Memento on Sweet Sorbet. I figured out where I wanted the heart to be cut and cut it.
I layered the die cut heart over the same part on the initial flower grouping. It is real easy to do!
The base and sentiment of Pebbled Path created a bit of a masculine touch to the card. This way, I can use it for whoever in the future!
Go forward to check out Melissa Davies, and back to Cindy Elam. I know they’ll have some great ideas for us!
We will see you next week with more great inspirations in card making!

Ohh, this turned out so well! I love the idea of using a shape other than a circle for the “spotlight”.
