Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!
Our theme this week features a one layer card!
Ohhhhh, these are such fun! And, soo challenging.
Until you see this –
Beautiful. Gorgeous. Easy.
Any ideas what flower I might have used for this???
Well…….it is not a flower at all!
I used the A Touch of Ink stamp set! More specific, the solid-ish butterfly center! The one close to the bottom right!
I initially stamped it three times going in a circle. The edges barely touching. I went around three more times, same pattern, filling in the areas.
For the center, I used the dots and stamped twice, once with full ink, then again lighter, without re-inking. I did this right next to each other until I went completely around the flower.
Simple technique, gorgeous results! Wouldn’t you agree?
Go check out all of our one layer cards! Start next with Debbie Henderson, and back to Cindy Elam.
