Gather Together

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge!

Here is our newest color challenge –

I decided to try my hand at some new products, Curvy Celebrations, mixed with some old, Gather Together stamp set with the mini slim card design –

I stamped the leaves from the new Quite Curvy stamp set in Pretty Peacock, coloring them with Pretty Peacock Light Blends. I used the Curvy Dies to cut them out. Both of these items will be available on November 3.

I wanted to create a softer looking fall card, so I stamped the pumpkins from the Gather Together stamp set in an old Cajun Craze ink pad to help create the shading. I colored them with a Mango Melody marker. I colored the stems with Cajun Craze.

I added the sentiment from the same stamp set also in Cajun Craze, but a newer, juicy, ink pad. Just goes to show, you can use old stuff for something!

By the way, my card is sized 3 1/2″ x 6 and fits into a #6 1/2 envelope used to mail personal checks.
