Have you seen the new holiday mini from Stampin’ Up!?
It. Is. Awesome. Take a moment to view it here.
I am slowly getting into playing around with new products too! Take a look at this sweet little creation –
Adorable, right?!?!
I just was playing, but I liked the way it turned out! I need to practice more and watch more videos on how to better create one of these.
I watches this video from Stampin’ Up! to see how they recommend creating the basic globe. It really helped out.
Using Balmy Blue card stock, I die cut the globe opening using the Snow Globe Dies.
On Whisper White, I stamped the snowman from the Snowman Season stamp set. I colored his nose with a Pumpkin Pie Dark Blends. I positioned him behind the globe opening.
I found this neat snowball filler at the Dollar Tree to add to the globe. I probably added a bit too much, but it was hard to judge hoe much to use. I’ll know for next time.
- Stamp Set – Snowman Season
- Dies / Embossing – Snow Globe Dies
- Card Stock – Whisper White, Balmy Blue, Real Red, Silver Foil
- Ink – Black Memento
- Other – Snow Globe Shaker Dome, Pumpkin Pie Dark Blends
