You might have already heard, but two important crafting items are being discontinued by Stampin’ Up and will not be in the upcoming Stampin’ Up! catalog.
One is the Stampin Trimmer.
Yes, both the Stampin’ Trimmer and blades! In the past, there have been many issues with acquiring the replacement blades for this item. Both are still available until inventory is gone. I recommend purchasing either of these now, before they are no longer available.
Especially the replacement blades. Currently, there is a limit of 3 replacement blades, but will increase to a limit of 6 on April 15. Trimmer blades are in full stock as of now. However, they will sell out and not be reordered.
Also, the Big Shot and the cutting plates and accessories. Many of us have these machines. I do recommend stocking up on the plates as the machine will last you forever and still cut all the Stampin’ Up! dies and several other brands. It’s the plates that need replacing more frequently depending on use.
The various plates with no longer be available either. These do last a lot longer, but consider purchasing a backup set.
Going forward, Stampin’ Up! will have a new die cutting system, it is not known at this time what they will go with. They will not have one in the upcoming catalog.
As a result of not carrying a die cutting machine, Stampin’ Up! will still carry stamps with coordinating dies and embossing folders in the upcoming catalog. New ones will be manufactured slightly different pertaining to the cutting edge. Existing stock will be depleted first before the new ones go out.
This has minimal affect on you when making your purchases.
Look for the complete retiring list on April 15.
I’d love to help you with any of the above products or you can order online in my online store as well.
