Happy post – 4th of July! Here in Houston, we survived another holiday flood!

Not too soaked and was able to create a card for Create with Connie and Mary and out newest Thursday challenge! We are back to color and sketch challenges –

Great happy colors!

I designed this fun card with new products –

I started with the Celebrate sentiment. It’s from a stamp set called, Calligraphy Essentials.

I used the Birthday Backgrounds for the candles and the streamer curls. Perfect addition for this card!

Tip : After I did the stamping, I decided the card needed a little something. I added the watercoloring with a blender pen and the Blueberry Bushel pads. Since the new pads are not as squishable as the old ones, I touched the edge of the pad to collect the ink to color with.
