Happy Easter! My second post on Easter today! Another blog hop! This one is for We Create.
Our theme is to create a card, then recreate it again, adding elements to ‘step it up’, make it fancy.
My other post today used the Whisper White Narrow Note Card & Envelops and retiring colors.
I decided to use the note cards again, along with Brusho Crystals Watercolors.
I started with the butterfly from Beautiful Day and made this card –
Resembles the retiring Dapper Denim, doesn’t it??
This butterfly was made a little more controlled and the colors are turned more vibrant –
The piece of Designer Series Paper is thinner on this card is well. It’s from Pick a Pattern. Emerald Envy will be a retiring In-Color as well.
The sentiment is from a hostess set, Yay You. Perfect here!
Hard to tell in the photographs, but the butterfly is adhered on the left side and is popped up on the right side. Yes, makes putting it in an envelope difficult. Just use a larger one.
As this is a continuous blog hop, check out the next designer, Kris, on the creative trail!
- Stamp Set – Beautiful Day, Yay You
- Card Stock – Watercolor Paper
- Ink – Black Memento
- DSP – Pick a Pattern
- Other – Brusho Watercolor Crystals

Beautiful cards. I love the look with the Brushos. Your butterfly looks like stained glass.

I *just* ordered this stamp set last night…I’m thinking the first cards I’ll make with it are a CASE of these 😉 Thanks for the great idea!

How fun! I like the butterfly hanging over like that!
