That’s right. That holiday will be here before we know it too!
Over at Create with Connie and Mary this week, we have a great color challenge that inspired my card for Valentine’s.
Here are the colors –
Says LOVE to me!!! Right?
Well, I got creative this time with a non-stamped card –
It was a bit hard to photograph the front because of the front panel.
This is a side view for a better explanation. The hearts are adhered to the front of the card over the ‘window’.
I added the ‘love’ sentiment from the same set of framelits!
When the card is fully opened this is what it looks like!
The Whisper White panel does extend onto the back of the red panel.
I can’t wait to leave this for the hubs later in the month. I forget to leave cards around for my family. They really do enjoy receiving them still!
Have I inspired you yet?
If I haven’t, perhaps the other design team members have at Create With Connie and Mary. Take time to get your creativity on and join us this week!
If I did, then please leave me a good read!
Supplies –
- Stamp Set – none (can you believe it??)
- Dies – Sunshine Wishes Thinlits, Layering Circles Framelits,
- Card Stock – Whisper White, Real Red, Basic Black, Crumb Cake
- DSP – Sending Love
- Other – Tombow Liquid Glue
Love how your card flips up with a center panel! Glad you saw Valentines with this color combination, too! Great job with the color challenge this week!
Thanks Connie! I love how this turned out too!!!
I LOVE the hearts layered over that open circle! How clever! Really shows them off! Love your non-traditional opening also…makes the card even more interesting!
Thanks you – I love this fold – i just forget to use it!
What a great fun fold card! I’ve done this fold only one time but you’ve inspired me to do it again! I love this non-stamped card! Totally sweet and fun!
Thanks, Jenny – sometimes you just have to create a non-stamped card……because you CAN!!
