Wednesday. You know what that means. It’s time for a Watercooler Wednesday Challenge.
This one is from Jean and very appropriate –
It’s a color challenge! Not just any colors – the NEW In-Colors!
I had fun coming up with this –
I think this is a loose interpretation of the Bargello technique.
Mine uses very wide strips of the 2016-2018 In-Color Envelope Paper.
I was such a big fan of the last In-Color Envelope Paper (its since retired). I used it quite a bit instead of the DSP. It’s also a bit less expensive. This time I love both patterns. The other os a bubbly dot pattern of sorts.
Since there was very little of the Sweet Sugarplum used here, that became my background border color and what I used for the cool new scalloped circle around the focal point.
Such a fun way to show off these new colors and new products!
Supplies used –
- Stamps – Designer Tin of cards
- DSP – 2016-2018 In-Color Envelope Paper
- Dies – Layering Circles Framelits
- Card Stock – Very Vanilla, Sweet Sugarplum
- Ink – Early Espresso
I’d love to read what you think! It’s good ‘card-carma’!
Then, head over to Watercooler Wednesday to get some more inspiration from the other team creations. Some nice projects!
Libby what a great idea to go Bargello with this envelope paper. It really takes me back to my needlework days, but in a much faster way. I love, love the simplicity of this card, and the solid punch of colours. This paper simply showcases how well you can use the new Incolours together! Thanks for sharing and happy stamping!
