Welcome to another edition of the Blogging Friends Blog Hop!
This will be an interesting hop as our theme this month is ‘craft room’!
Ok. That’s loose. Craft room. I store my stuff in a somewhat organized fashion in a nice big room. I have all the comforts you’d want, TV, XM radio, paper, lots of stamps……….However, I like to craft in our dinning room since it’s bright and sunny or in the living room so I can be in the same room as my husband. And, really those are not too noteworthy.
I decided to snap a few photos of my craft room. Things I like.
Stamps. I have lots of stamps! I like my retired stamps too. I mark mine as to whether they are retired, Hostess sets, Sale-a-Bration, from a Mini catalog – you get the idea.
Punches. This is a partial of my great wall of punches – I’m missing a few. Simple old fashion curtain rods mounted to a narrow wall section behind a door. Great use of this dead space!
Paper. Solid color. All in these Hobby Lobby aquired steal racks! LOVE. Love. Love.
Paper Scraps. Yes. Color coded. Family separated scraps. I do have a lot.
DSP paper. These are some of my retired packs. I have currents ones on the other side in the same type of holders.
Retired ribbons. These are on a slat wall unit in the middle section, between my DSP.
Picture is askew, but sort of easier to see.
Current ribbon. I don’t have too many as I have a bazillion retired rolls. The ribbon really is hidden everywhere.
Misc. stamp items.Embossing powders, Paper Pumpkin stamps, note cards, 6×6 DSP stacks, embossing folders, framelits & thinlits, and a shelf for all my plates and platforms. Just below are my 2 Big Shots for cutting. It’s a great set up here.
This is really a glimpse of basically storage in my craft room. I have lots of tables and an Ikea Stenstorp that I craft on or keep in progress projects on.
I hope you’ve enjoyed the sneak peek into my world. Leave me a comment, I love to hear from you!
Now, hop on over to see how the others craft.

Oh Libby you’ve left me hanging- what is a Stenstorp, and what are those things your scraps are in- I really would love to poke around in your room! Looks organized and bright!
Thanks for leaving a comment! The Stenstorp is from Ikea. The scraps are in these from the Container Store. Please let me know if you have any more questions!
These are all great storage ideas, Libby! I love how organized your stamp sets are though. And, I do the same thing, separate by retired/current etc. Great job and such a great craft space! xo Crystal
Thanks Crystal for stopping by and taking a glimpse into my crafting world!
Great storage ideas, Libby! What kind of containers do you keep your paper scraps in? Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for leaving a comment Deb! My scraps are in trays from the Container Store. I LOVE them. They take up space, but I have one for each color family too…..
So organized! Thanks for the great ideas! Seriously jealous of your paper storage racks! Seems like everyone has a magical story of these wire racks finding them, lol. I’m waiting for mine to fall from heaven!
These are THE best. Sadly, I have two more in the attic that I don’t have space for…….It really is organized. After seeing all the other rooms, mine is on par.
Libby Great post! Girl you have a lot of ribbon
OMG, Rick I do!!! I admit it. It’s all retired. I can’t pass up great deal when they end up on the Clearance rack, you know!? I mean SU ribbon has yards and yards on each roll – not a few measly feet…….
I am the same way I can not pass up a deal on the clearance rack! I just love a deal I have been trying to be good lately but anytime i need to add a few dollars to an order to bump it up to the hostess rewards; Clearance Rack here I come!
Wow! Great storage ideas. Yes, you have a lot of ribbons and love your paper racks.
Thanks Lorene! I appreciate you taking the time to leave a compliment!
Yay, another one who crafts at the dining room table! 🙂 I love your storage for paper scraps and the racks for your solid colored paper. So nice looking. I also love the idea of labeling the stamp sets that are retired, SAB, Occasions, Hostess, etc. I truly need to do that.
Thanks Jodi for stopping to leave a comment after looking around! Ah, the joys of dining room crafting!
SO organized and I love it! I should go back and show close ups of my punch storage, card stock and other storage ideas. Thanks for sharing your crafting space. 🙂
Thanks for leaving a comment Leanne! I just could not zoom out in my pictures……I have lot of stuff!
Great space and so nice and neat! I really love your ribbon storage….I am always struggling with storing it. I am gonna have to give that a try and see how I like it:)
Thanks for leaving a comment Jessica! I have lots of great storage ideas because I have way too much to store!
