Welcome to the longer addition of the February Blogging Friends Blog Hop!
Longer, because we’ve added some new stops for your crafting inspiration! Please take the time to stop by everyone’s blog and leave happy thoughts with everyone!
The theme for the month is, no doubt, Love. I just got the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits and I have been playing around with it. I decided to go with this –
A nice little ensemble using both the heart and the negative left over.
The bag was a take on a Purse Bag Box I made here. The leftover heart resembled a sort of heart of flames or something.
The sides I did a little different. I used two pieces of trimmed 6×6 DSP and adhered it all around the bottom. I pinched the sides together instead of overlapping them. Simply for a different look.
I made the tissue shreds with red tissue paper cut with the Fringe Scissors. So easy and quick to make your own!
The negative image is really cool, especially in this Red Foil. I liked it and it caught my eye. This also looks masculine. Hard to pull off in the realm of paper crafts!
The card is a larger, 5×5 card. I wanted to accommodate this wonderful heart.
I backed the heart and trimmed around it. Daunting. But, it needed it. I accented the heart with various sizes of rhinestones. The DSP is up on Dimensionals as well as the heart. It really pops!
I think these will make two nice surprises for my husband. Because, after 25 years plus…….
Ok. Enough of that. Please take the time to leave a comment.

Super cute projects as always! Love that you paired the Go Wild DSP stack with red for V-Day:)
Thanks for stopping by to leave a comment!
Great project! That sentiment is perfect with the patterned paper you used!
Thanks Anna for stopping by to leave a comment!
What original projects! I honestly have yet to cut into this paper stack. I think I’m intimidated by the animal prints. I love that you went for it and then found the perfect sentiment to use to make it cheeky and fun.
Thanks for stopping by to leave a comment! I was in such a create funk with these projects – but, go big or go home, right?
Libby great card! I love this thinlit also, but I can not believe I forgot to order the bundle but ordered the stamp set. I am so silly anyway great projects.
That make two of us-Ii ordered the framelits and not the stamp set! Thanks for taking the time to leave kind words Rick!
OMG, “Wild about You” is a great Valentine’s theme! So much fun. I actually just used that DSP for the first time too over the weekend and threw my card in the trash!! So, nice to see you using it! Love it. Crystal
This DSP is a love/hate relation I’ve found. Go pull yours out and create with it! Thanks for taking the time to leave a compliment Crystal!
I agree with both of you about the love/hate relationship with this DSP stack. Sometimes it works and then other times just “why would I ever use it?” Ha.
Love it! I would never have thought to pair that die with the Go Wild paper and it looks amazing! And all that hand cutting? awesome!
Thanks Danica! Glad you liked it. Always got to be thinking out of the box! I appreciate you taking the time to leave a compliment!
Libby, I just adore your ‘wild’ bag/purse!! You’ve pushed that DSP back to the top of my list (thanks for enabling!) I think your hubby will really appreciate it, and the fabulous card
Thanks Debbie! We can be out worst enimies for enabling!! I appreciate you compliments!
Love that Wild About You sentiment with the DSP and Bloomin Heart Thinlits.
I love this paper and don’t always know quite how to use it! I really like it here though. Thanks for leaving a comment Lorene!
I love these colors together! So striking! I would not have thought to use those prints for this. It worked so well!
Thanks! I guess no one really thought to use this paper for Valentine’s Day – I see a trend forthcoming! Thanks for taking the time to leave a compliment!
Such great projects! Thank you for the inspiration to use up that Go Wild DSP stack. Happy to be hopping with you!
Lovely projects, Libby!
Thanks for leaving a compliment Areli!
Hi Libby….love the animal print bag and your card. But I absolutely must say, what a creative use with the die cut negative. I need to do that more.
Thanks for stopping by Chris! That foil paper is not cheap – you have to make the best use of it. So, why not use what most would scrap? I think it also shows customers to use everything too. Your compliments are appreciated!
