Today is our youngest daughters twenty-first birthday!
She is away at college so I made her a special birthday box as usual. The star of the show is, of course, the card –
Looks pretty simple from the outside. Until. Until you open it up.
Isn’t this cool?
I had seen this style of card on another card site. I was SO intrigued. No directions – so, I had to wing it. I’m sure there are directions on Pinterest or elsewhere – but, I was on a quest.
It was actually way easier than it looks. I started with an accordion style spine. I based that on the amount of letters or tags I’d need. Then I added the front and back panels. Those were just pieces of the wrapping paper adhered to card stock.
I just loved the way it turned out. I think she will too! It fits her personality.
A very, very happy twenty-first birthday dearest Emily!!!
Happy Stampin’

Loved it! Thanks, mom!
Wow! Good job, Libby. Talk about an overachiever card! That card is great. Congratulatios on the time it must have taken to accomplish that.
It was pretty easy, really. Thanks for stopping by Nancy!
