Our new Stampin’ Up catalog came out recently. With the new catalog comes lots of release parties and all sorts of hoopla! Many of us form stamps clubs around this time. I’m no different. It’s a long time to commit, a year. So, right off the get go, I like to reward those who sign up with a little gift.
My gift for the past few years has always been an In Color ink pad. I usually just put it in the bag with the first order. This year, I was in a real creative mood and decided to make these for my stamp club members –
Aren’t these wonderful? They are boxes I designed to hold an ink pad!
Since each person got to choose their color, I made the box to correspond to the ink inside. I just love them!
I made my pattern by measuring the ink pad, flat dimensions and sides. Also, figuring out the way I wanted it to close. Grid paper is really helpful in these situations. But, anyway, this is what I came up with. The pattern is here.
Makes you want to join my stamp club, right??
I’m off to deliver orders, and of course, these wonderful, reusable, ink pad boxes!
Happy Stampin’
