It’s Tuesday! And, I have another tip for you.
Today, punch storage. Well, a punch wall for storage that is.
This was the perfect space for storing punches, behind the door swing. It’s a few inches wide. I bought these basic metal curtain rods from our not so favorite big box store for less than $2.00 each. I’ve since seen these at my dollar store!
We bought ones that were twice as long so they would slide into one another to form a more stable surface. We have sheet rock, so they are anchored with proper plus and screws. The tiny nails that came with these would not have supported the weight.
I have about 9 rows here. Had I done the measuring, I would have put one more row in. Got to use every inch of usable space!
As you can see, these accommodate the older whale style punches as well as out new flat fold punches. I leave my flat folded punches open however. I also have a few other brands here too.
Some of these you can see my ‘yellow dot’ which indicates ‘retired’. I also write the Stampin’ Up item number on the back for my customers to take note of. Makes it easy for them as they are working on projects and want something.
Now, these are mostly current punches. I do have a large basket of retired punches that is problematic to find the one that I need. So, still working on that organizational problem.
Happy Stampin’
