I know. I know. Silly title. But, I couldn’t come up with a snazzier title.
I really just wanted to share some of my highlights from the 2014 Stampin’ Up Leadership Convention.
I’ll start with a cool shot of the screen. I was fortunate. It was held in Houston this year. I live about 20 minutes away from the venue, but decided to make it a real treat and stay nearby for the full experience.
My adventures started Wednesday night for a fun afternoon of stampin’. And, pizza from Franks. The pizza delivery guy was kind enough to take this photo too!
During our first session, I snapped a photo with me and my side-line, Nancy.
One of the things that is really important to Stampin’ Up is service, giving to others. We help stuff birthday boxes for our local Texas Children’s Hospital. The boxes contained items to make a child’s birthday a little more bearable if it falls while they are at the hospital.
I meant to photograph the box contents as well, but did not. Oh well. Nancy and I helped assemble journals, make banners and fill boxes.
In the photo you can also see the lovely bags/purse we received.
Speaking of bags, this was also another bag we received. Loved this! And, this was one of the stamp sets we got too. I lost count of all the free product we received. It was a generous amount.
Here was another group photo. Me, my up-line Pearl, my side-line Nancy and my ‘uppity’-line, Wendy.
This was my first leadership to attend. It was truly a wonderful experience. I look forward to attending again.
Stampin’ Up had numerous classes packed with valuable information. All the ideas and information in the Demonstrator Resource Center provided ideas, sneak peaks, and lots of inspiration. The food was great, convention and hotel. Yes, the hotel was beyond relaxing, especially the manager’s reception (aka, happy hour) as they called it! And, most importantly, the friends, current and new!
I had fun swapping too. Awesome shares! I’ll share my cards in the next few days.
Happy Stampin’
Libby
