Gettin’ this way early this morin’, huh?
Yup, you are.
This simple little beauty is for my daughter. I had to factor in the time difference.
Today school starts in Boston. It will be the first day to meet new students as she will be working in a middle/junior high school. She has always been wonderful around kids. So patient, kind, attentive. This is a perfect job for her. She’s going to do great!
My card is supposed to represent a chalkboard. It’s a pretty good likeness. The phrase, “she Believed she could…so she did” comes from the set, Feels Good. I think it’s a wonderful phrase. And, very fitting of this occasion.
Since she will be teaching, the chalkboard was the natural choice. Now, the apple – my creative take on the Six-Sided Sampler and Hexagon Punch. I love the apple.
After graduation, my daughter really had her sites set for this job. And, while she applied and interviewed for others, this was the one she wanted. So, I am very proud of her accomplishment. And all the other heartfelt stuff moms says when their kids do great things!
Enjoy your first class today. And, all the remaining days of school. You are destined to leave a positive impression on these young students. Lots of love to you today!
Happy Stampin’
Libby
