Did you miss me?
I have missed posting here and sharing my miscellaneous card ramblings. But, I’ve been out-of-pocket for a good reason.
A week ago today, we were in Boston to watch our daughter graduate from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts! She received a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Language and Culture. We are all so proud.
And of course in Libby fashion, I made her graduation cards. Just a few. She hasn’t received them yet because she stayed in Boston after graduation to spend time with friends. But, I decided to post them here anyway. If you follow me on Facebook, some of my creations made it to the cover already.
Todays sweet share was a simple one. To the point.
After fours years at Tufts, I just realized a color I was not too fond of, Marina Mist, matched her colors perfectly! I struggled over the years creating cards with different shades of Stampin’ Up card stock never to be happy with them. Now, I found the perfect one. So, I made that one sheet I had, go far, really far.
The ‘elephant’ image I found at Archiver’s one day. It was perfect as their mascot is Jumbo, an elephant. The letters are ours, Typeset Alphabet. The two paired, made for a great card!
So, now that I’m back and recovering from our trip, I’ll be back to posting again.
Happy Stampin’
Libby
