Sympathy cards are never easy to make are they? Especially when they involve someone who has been in your life a lifetime.
Yes, this card was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches this week because I was at a creative standstill in making this card. I knew it needed to be done and, I needed to make 2 of them.
The embossed Vine Street was only adhered down the center to stand up on the edges. Crumb Cake and Soft Suede really compliment each other here. I was thrilled I only used one stamp set and one embossing folder for these cards.
They went to my 2 nephews who lost their father, my sisters ex-husband, suddenly, unexpected.
I remember him, Mike, always attending every family function, always included. He was quiet, a bit shy person. Always friendly if you spoke to him. Always smiling.
I hope this card expresses my deepest sympathy to you for your deep loss.
Happy Stampin’
