So, I pulled out some new products from the Occasions Mini catalog, Twitterpated DSP and the stamp set, Loving Thoughts to create this –
I think the petite design of this paper works perfectly with my 3×6 take.
The inspiration came from Freshly Made Sketches and their current challenge –
I love the long design. I get in a rut with the same old 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card size. So, this for me was definitely ‘fresh’.
I seem to take these designs literally, Although there is some room for creativity – I just like to go with the original design.
Supplies. Loving Thoughts Stamp Set. Island Indigo Ink. Blushing Bride, Island Indigo, and Whisper White Card Stock. Twitterpated DSP. Punches, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border, 2″ Scallop Circle (non SU), 1 3/4″ Circle, Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer. (Lots of punches!!) Northern Flurry Embossing Folder (bet you didn’t guess that, did you?). Twitterpated Designer Buttons.
I know, that was a lot of stuff to create this fabulous gem – but, so worth it I think.
Thanks Freshly Made Sketches for another great challenge!
Happy Stampin’
Libby
Very pretty, Libby. It reminds me a nice comfy quilt, which would be so perfect on this dreary day we are having in Texas today.
This is lovely Libby, I love your clean lines and simple layers. That paper is super pretty!! Happy you liked my sketch! Thanks!
