Well, I’m back from Convention and need to share all my wonderful swaps I made and things that I received…….but, it’s Tuesday. And, that means a tip to share.
In preparing for convention I came up with a few tips that I will share. The first one is about a new punch, the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch. I made a swap card (that you will see in a future post) using 4 of these on one card! Crazy huh?
Well, to get the most punches out of my sparse sheets of cardstock, I flipped the punch over, like when you are punching out a stamped image. (*Note, I punch my images going to the left.) On the bottom of the punch I placed a piece of tape to gauge where the edge of the card stock was. I punch out an image that was just about as close to the bottom as you can go.
Next, I moved the punch to the left a bit. I over lapped the previously punched Blossom Bouquet by about 2 scallops on the left side of the punched image.
I punched again. It punches extremely close and right to the bottom edge of your card stock! It does look as though you will punch right over an area that has already been punched. But, practice. You won’t. Now, just keep punching away until you are at the end or you have as many as you need!
I do recommend practicing on scrap paper to fully *get* how this works. : )
Happy Stampin’
