This is a busy time of year for many things, one of which, new graduates. Seems like I get announcements every year from friends and family members children which make me think, “you’re how old already?”. Wow, how times flies…….
Time flies which has made it short lately to get any thing really accomplished. I need to make my cards quick and easy to help get everything done. Posting them is another story. LOL!
This is a card I made for a recent Graduate –
What do you think? I started with a Basic Black card base (I put Whisper White on the inside to write my congrats on), followed with layers of Basic Gray and Whisper White. The Real Red image is stamped from Baroque Motifs. Happy Graduation is from Teeny Tiny Wishes, stamped in Basic Black. I piece of computer paper, because it’s lightweight and more pliable, was rolled up to make the *diploma*. I secured it with Tombow Glue. It was tied off with 1/4 Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon. I glued it to a Basic Black and Basic Gray mat with Tombow Glue. All the layered corners on the card were punched with the Ticket Corner Punch to give a little added flair.
This was a fast, easy, card that could mass-produced in no time. The colors could also be changed up to suit any school colors.
Happy Stampin’
Libby
