At my last class, this was the Mother’s Day (or Birthday card) card that we made –
I wanted to share a few different techniques with my stampers, and this was what I came up with. This is a Pinwheel card. Perfect with the Springtime Vintage DSP that will soon no longer be available. The patterns are small enough to make a statement in this technique.
Card base is Crumb Cake. Layered with Very Vanilla, Rose Red, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. To make the Pinwheel squares, we used the 1 1/4 Square Punch. Made 8 squares, flipping over 4 of them. Center is a Vintage Flower Adornment. Stamp set was Messages for Mom. It has a great selection of words, not just for mothers only.
Fun, fun card!
Happy Stampin’

I would love to get the pattern for this card. My mother and I are avid quilters and I’m the president-elect of our quilt guild. I would love to show this next week at our meeting. Maybe even make enough for our guild… though 50 this weekend might be pushing it?!? It is absolutely beatiful.
