At my most recent class, we made four projects. Over the next few days I will post what we made. I challenged everyone in their paper-folding skill and we learned a new technique or two.
In coming up with the class projects, I was a trying to be *well-rounded* and decided I had not made a child/masculine birthday card in a while. So, this is what we did –
This is fun, bright, cute, and just says *open me*. Don’t you agree?
Bashful Blue card stock for the card base and Two Tags Sizzix Die (only 1 used). The pattern paper is Celebration DSP. Pacific Point and Real Red make the cute little cupcake punched from the Build a Cupcake Punch. The Happy Birthday is from the coordinating stamp set, Create a Cupcake punched from the Word Window Punch. As you can see, Real Red Ink was used to stamp that sentiment.
I folded the Two Tags tag around the card. It is tied off with the retired 5/8″ Real Red Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon, one of my favorites!
This card was made in a flash. It would be terrific and easy to mass produce for invitations or birthday cards or whatever you need them for.
Happy Stampin’
