Well, todays tips is all about patterns. *Your* patterns.
I tend to have a finished idea in my head and work backwards in creating many of my projects. Along the way, I make several trials and go through lots of spare, non Stampin’ Up, card stock. When I decide that I *like* how it has turned out, I make myself a pattern.
Now, this pattern is not your ordinary *pattern*.
I found some years ago, a package of 500 sheets of solid single color heavy weight card stock. I make all my patterns out of this. I do this for several reasons. I know it’s a pattern because of the color. I know where it belongs, it’s home. because of the color. I can share it at my classes and not lose it, because of the color. I make notes on the pattern as well as any tips or tricks. This has worked very, very well.
So, make yourself a *pattern* for projects that you *really* like and want to duplicate at a later date.
If you look at my tutorials tab, you will see what I mean.
Happy Stampin’
