Ok, so this is a silly title I know. But, my sister-in-law found out that she was going to become an Oma, (grandmother) a few months ago. Her son always carried around his *blue bear* and whatever parts remained of the *blue bear*. So, as soon as she found out the news, off she went to purchase the new little one their very own *blue bear*.
Anxiously, she awaited to find out what the baby would be. Seems these days it is very hard to find baby items in such neutral colors such as yellow, mint or peach. So, in order to proceed with purchasing anything, they wanted to know if the new arrival will be a girl or boy.
And, it will be a little girl! So, this card is a congratulations on the upcoming birth (August arrival) of her first *Grand Girl*.
This is such a SWEET card. Very delicate and baby-like.
Base is Blushing Bride. DSP is from the Hostess In – Color 6×6 pack embossed with the Framed Tulip Embossing Folder. Ribbon is retired, Pink Pirouette 5/8 Striped Grosgrain, which matches to me. The adorable teddy bear is from the *must have set*, Every Little Bit, stamped in Basic Gray. He was colored in with a Bashful Blue Stampin’ Write Marker. I punched him out with a 1 1/4 Circle Punch and backed him with a Blushing Bride 1 3/8 Circle Punch. Sentiment/greeting is from Fabulous Phrases, stamped in Basic Gray. It was punched with the Jewelry Tag Punch and Tombow glued into place.
I would love to read your comments about it –
Enjoy, Oma Frances to be!
Happy Stampin’
Libby
Hi Libby — I love the card! — and my 3 grandsons must have the same addiction to the little blue bears. My oldest grandson dragged that bear everywhere; we had to buy 2 just in case one was left at home. After that, the oldest grandson (now 4) bought a new blue bear for each of his two new cousins as they came along.
