I just *have* to share this tip with you. Whether you are a hobby stamper, or you teach classes, if you mass produce anything using your Sizzix dies, you will APPRECIATE this helpful idea.
To get the most out of your card stock when using Sizzix dies of any type, make yourself some temporary *marks* on your die.
By temporary, I mean with tape, something not too sticky, like masking tape, painters tape, drafting tape, or regular gift wrapping tape, you see? It will come off clean and doesn’t damage the soft, squishy part. See the pictures show what I am trying to describe.
This way, you only cut what you need and little card stock is wasted as well. For this project, I cut my card stock like 2×3. The tape makes help me to place the card stock just where I need it cut!
BONUS TIP, also take note of the size of card stock needed to cut that particular shape and write it or label it on that particular die.
And, if you teach a class using the Sizzix (and who doesn’t), this makes lining up things a lot easier. No one *forgets* the placement of the paper to the die.
This tip was SO helpful at my March class where we made the Bustier Card and the Easter Card. My stampers were very grateful I did this.
Happy Stampin’
