Well, well, todays card is one from my March class. And, EVERYONE loved it. I think you will too, just see for yourself –
It’s a bustier! It is just fabulous isn’t it?? And, oh, so much fun to create!
Start with Basic Black and Blushing Bride Card Stocks. Run both through the Petal Cone Die. Love, love, LOVE that die!!! When you make both passes, also cut a Vellum scallop 1/2 circle from this die, yes, it does that too!
Remove flap from black piece, the Blushing Bride will be the panel that gets attached, making the hinge for the card.
Next, run the Basic Black Petal Cone through the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. Carefully line it up with the pattern to help create that sexy look of lace. A detail that is well worth the time! Attached the Vellum scallops to resemble a sheer lacy top.
I adhered the back of the card to the front and then trimmed the two pieces together to make sure they were even. (TIP, To trim more easily, flip card over on paper trimmer, Blushing Bride side up. Trying to cut through the embossed side first, is difficult because of the unevenness.)
I finished it off with a fancy Basic Rhinestone.
Really, really cute. Make these for your next Girls Night Out or Bridal Shower!
Happy Stampin’
