What??? Good Luck Mush E? What does that even mean?
Well, today my daughter Emily will be in an art show! She has a fabulous piece, a Linocut, that she created. It is black and white and features, what else, but a MUSHROOM! Hence, *Mush E*!
These days, mushrooms seems to be a real inspiration for her. We are very proud of her. Her piece will also be auctioned off at the end of the night. We are excited for her.
So, as usual, I made her a card to make her day a little extra special –
As you can see, mushrooms were my inspiration too.
I used a variety of components to make this gem. Base is Very Vanilla. Marina Mist & Bashful Blue make the border around the Woodland Friends paper. The Good Luck image is from the Sale-A-Bration set, So Happy for You. Stamped in Pacific Point. The scalloped edge comes from some punch in my drawer of punches. This line of mushrooms was a strip at the bottom of 12×12 paper that I just trimmed down. I carefully cut a couple of the mushroom caps and popped them up on Dimensionals. It gives a nice 3-d look.
Look closer at my creation. It contains an added bonus for her.
Best of luck to our dear Emily –
Happy Stampin’
