Awhile back I got this hostess set from the Occasions Mini Catalog, A Slice of Life. It is a really cool, cute, and versatile. I was sooo excited to get this set. I made this really adorable card –
This is s a fun layout.
Card base is Very Vanilla, of course. And, well, that is the only card stock I actually used for this! The Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder makes for a great, simple, & clean background here. The circle is our 2 1/2′ Circle Punch. The 1′ Circle Punch makes for a neat ribbon catch. The Peach Parfait Poly Twill was used here, tied off with Linen Thread. The image and greeting was stamped in Basic Grey. I colored the little sleeper with a Peach Parfait Stampin’ Write Marker. Congratulations greeting is from the Hostess Level 3, Occasional Quotes.
I *popped* up the cut out image on Dimensional. The *hanger* is………a cut paperclip!!
This could easily be changed up to suit a new baby boy or girl.

Libby — this is just so cute! You are just so talented. I check your posts almost every day and you never fail to amaze me with both good advice, design ideas, stampin up salvation (I am a new demo), and great humor. BTW — can you elaborate on how the 1″ punch acts as the ribbon catch?

The *ribbon catch*- its actually hard to see in the picture, but I basically puched the 1″ circle, half of it, on the lower right side of the card. The ribbon peice is about 9ish inches long. I wrapped it around the top and the underside of the card. I did a use little mono adhesive to hold it in place. When I pulled the 2 ends together, I just tied them with the linen thread.
