I do not post really anything of a personal manner. But, recently my great friend Nancy and my Aunt Mary both receive news about their cancer that means continued treatments. Both have had breast cancer and have undergone various treatments over the years.
So, I decided to create a quick card to let them know that they were in my thoughts and prayers.
It is a simple Very Vanilla base with an embossed Framed Tulip Border. The next layer is Perfect Plum and Very Vanilla. The Night of Navy 1 1/4 inch Grosgrain Ribbon was cinched, tied with Linen Thread. The flower motif from Just Believe was colored with Stampin’ Write Markers in Perfect Plum and Old Olive. Sentiment is from Thoughts & Prayers stamped in Basic Grey.
The combination of Perfect Plum and Night of Navy were *out of the box* colors for me, but, they worked soo well for this card!
Say an extra prayer for those battling cancer. There is probably more people than you know who are dealing with a cancer diagnoses and going through treatment.

Libby, Again, you have put things together in a simply yet oh so elegant style that is just beautiful. I would never have thought of putting Perfect Plum and Night of Navy together and now I can hardly wait to try it!!
