As many of you know, I hold monthly stamp and scrap classes. Besides the original, most of the time, ideas that I have, I also cut, bag, and SCORE all of my projects. Basically, you come, stamp, assemble, eat, chat and shop.
My attendees *do* go to other stamp functions from time to time. I have been told that none of the others ever actually SCORE the cards or projects that they make. Kudos for me right?
Yes, UNTIL I started going through the scoring tools, bone folders like crazy! They wear down as you score with them. I do admit that I have both a Scor-Pal and a Martha Stewart Scoring Board. *Love* both of them. Except for the fact that I was in need of scoring tools now, as i was preparing for classes, and not a few days later when they could be shipped.
So, my solution is this –
It is a Stylus! It fits just right into the scoring grooves, either end! It makes *sweet* score lines as it fits securely in the groove of your scoring device. Producing score lines that are very precise, neat, thin and straight. The Stylus, item number 100663 – that sell for a mere $2.50. Which, by the way is way CHEAPER than the other *scoring* tools!
Of course I have found no need for the bone folder as when you fold these score lines, they are pretty perfect.
Side note, when scoring DSP or thinner than card stock weight, watch the amount of pressure you apply. The thinner papers can tear.
