Yay! Two Weeks – 2 weeks until Christmas!
I am making my Christmas cards – I know, they should have already been mailed – but, they are almost ready to go. (I will post them at a later date.) I am also working on something for my co-workers. Both projects use photos. So, in trimming all these photos, I ended up with all these scraps of picture pieces. Now, I have a hard time to discard something that I *might* potentially be able to repurpose.
And, well, I did –
See, I made an ornament out of the scraps!!!! Clever isn’t it? Here is another view –
What remains in the photo is mint from my herb garden. It is very bright and light green!
Since I trimmed multiple photos at the same place, I ended up with all these *strips* of the same image. I just stacked them and punched a hole using my Crop A Dile. I placed a tassel at the bottom and ran cord through the center. I tied it off with some retired Real Red Organza Ribbon.
This photo shows the top details. The next one shows bottom detailing.
Well, you can’t say I never think out of the box! This ornament sure takes to prize for thinking out of the box! LOL!
By the way, you will see the card that was made with the non-scraps in a few days. I just have been really busy getting ready for Christmas. You’d think it is just a couple of weeks away??
Happy Stampin’
