Well, we are moving right along with the holiday prep aren’t we?
It’s getting time to think about teacher gifts, classroom ideas, or maybe even co-worker ideas. All need to be quick to make of course. How about this one I have to share with you today –
Too cute, right? I know – I just love this! This was inspired by my stamper bud, Nancy. She made a cookie holder for one of her 3D convention swaps. Her pattern was different however. She got me to thinking about creating a different *style* of cookie holder. So, mix Christmas with cookies and this is what you get.
I see these ideas in my head – a finished project – and work backwards. This is how I came up with this idea and thus the pattern.
Basics were 1 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of Garden Green card stock, a Whisper White scrap, and some ribbon. Here, I used retired Real Red 3/4 Polka Dot Grosgrain. I decided to use the Got Treats stamp set markered in Real Red and Garden Green. I then punched the sentiment out with the Large Tag Punch.
The *box*went together quickly from a pattern I created. You can find it in the *tutorials* tab.
Happy Stampin’

Having seen this in person, and can’t wait to make some of them myself. We are doing Secret Santa at school and this would be a great little gift to share.
