Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!
Our theme this week features Santa, Gingerbread, Elves, Penguin cards.
I went with this adorable gingerbread house –
It features coloring with Blends – my favorite! It was nice to take a break from the hustle and bustle of this busy season to just sit and take the time to color!
I stamped the house in Early Espresso on Whisper White first.
I colored the yummy image using Blends in minimal, traditional colors, Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce. The house is colored with Ivory, along with the roof and gingerbread in Crumb Cake. Very simple, but oh, so adorable!!!
The Cuckoo Clock Dies from the regular catalog match this perfectly to cut it out nicely.
I mounted it on a panel of Subtle embossed Very Vanilla for contrast and to make the house just stand out.
I love how this stamped sentiment is. The top and bottom words are on one stamp for perfect alignment! Makes using two colors soo easy!
I’d love to hear what you think about my sweet creation!!
Go forward to check out Debbie Henderson, and back to Mary Brown. I know they’ll have some great projects to inspire us!
