We are getting to the favorites of my 2nd Annual Christmas Card Class.
As I said before, I designed several cards and had a time choosing the actual cards to reproduce for the class. This card was no exception. Take a look –
And from the side –
It’s stunning isn’t it?
The window sheet holds the front panel together.
This was a lot easier than it looks. Start by cutting the wreath and emboss it. Cut the bow too. The center of the bow is a punched circle.
The window sheet is cut 4 1/4 x 5 7/16 which is slightly less than 5 1/2 to allow for the fold. Adhere with Sticky Strip. Then add the bottom panel, also with Sticky Strip.
The sentiment on the inside of the card is visible. You have to make sure when you stamp it, it clears the wreath and is even between the panels. To ensure this, I made a template for ease of stamping. No mess ups either! Whew!
Lastly, adhere the wreath to the front of the card. Bow too.
So, see, pretty easy, right?
Now, when I originally designed this card, I designed it in Basic Black and Pool Party. It was also nice. But, I had to change it for color reasons. You’ll see later.
What do you think so far? Some nice cards, right? I’d love to know what you think!
Happy Stampin’
