Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop – Christmas Favor

It’s that time again! Time for our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features a Christmas favor or small gift.

I went with a favor –

At a recent team meeting, we created this neat triangle box! It folds up rather quickly!

And, it holds lots of chocolates. Here, I filled mine with three Almond Rocha, and more would have fit!

I made these three Christmas themed ones in no time. I used Very Vanilla card stock and the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper. There is a tiny velcro dot that keeps the box closed.

The tree is from the Sweetly Stitched framelits (a favorite of mine).

I have to laugh. The ‘tree skirt’ is from my next post for today. I am prepping for my Christmas Card Class this weekend and its the center from the Large Letter Framelit, O! They were all in a pile just asking to be used! Perfect use of a scrap!

The last little detail was the tiny Metallic Pearls! I love these! I’m now off to make lots more! They are quite fun!

These are just adorable!!!

Happy Try Stampin’ on Tuesday! Where we always have a great new sketch to spark your creativity every Tuesday!

Here is the newest sketch –

Optional Theme : Non Traditional Christmas / Holiday

Perfect as we can use all the ideas we can get! Everyone has different tastes and style for their Christmas cards.

The Nothing Sweeter Bundle has been a favorite of mine this year. I couldn’t resist using it again for this –

Sort of classic in colors, but the bright Granny Apple Green paired with the black Buffalo Check is so lovely!

I used the coordinating Sweetly Stitched framelits to cut out the shapes in fun colors too, Real Red, Granny Apple Green, and Balmy Blue.

The black and white banner piece is created using the Buffalo Check stamp, also a favorite of mine.

Let’s just say I pretty much love this card! Wouldn’t you agree?

Happy Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!

We are showing off cards with ‘stitching’ on them. That can be any kind of stitching, real or faux. Such a great idea!

I decided to go with faux stitching! I love sewing and cross-stitch, but this was the best for me.

And, a great way to show off this adorable Nothing Sweeter Bundle! I love all the extra details in the cuts! They are just sweet as can be!
