My friend and class attendee is a guest designer over at Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers.
I hoped over to their challenge, liked starting point and decide to play along.
It’s quite a fun challenge blog. Some really quirky stuff from those ladies.
A couple of other challenges caught my eye as well.
In creating a card, you got to have color. So I went with these colors from The Paper Players –
And, to put that all together, you got to have a layout. Mine came from Freshly Made Sketches –
Mix these three up along with new product and this is what you get –
How fun and funky is this? I love these bright, fresh colors!
I used that new Sunburst Framelit in two ways here. I cut a portion of the Sunburst for the focal point, but then I also flipped the die over to created a subtle embossed look with the framelit. Hard to see, but, pretty cool I’d say.
At the last-minute, I rotated the sketch, so my card has a neat side fold.
I love how it turned out! Don’t you? Your comments are always a welcomed read!
