Welcome to the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday challenge!

Here is our newest challenge to get your creativity going –

It’s a simple sketch with soo many possibilities!

I bought the Painted Glass bundle and decided I just needed to play around with it! I came up with this nice, masculine card –

I stamped the medallion in Smokey Slate and the sentiment on top in Blueberry Bushel. Those were punched out using the 2 1/4″ Circle punch. Behind that is the Starburst punch. These are on a detailed strip from the Stained Glass Thinlits. The strips of blue are card stock! Pretty simple card.

Let’s talk about these dies. This dies are very thin and intricate. They are beautiful! But, quite honestly, I was very intimidated by them. Until I actually used them! And, wow They cut really nice and released cleanly from the dies with no special tricks! I was so relieved!

I highly recommend this bundle / suite! It’s very pretty!

I have a quick share today. I know, a posting on a Friday, how special is that????

Last weekend I celebrated a milestone birthday. When I got back from my birthday trip to New York, I had two lovely handmade surprises in my mailbox!

One from a dear, talented friend, Charlene, who helps keep me in business!

Charlene created this using the Painted Glass stamp set, Stained Glass Thinlits, and the Graceful Glass Designer Series Paper. It’s just a beautiful card.

The other handmade card was from a fellow blogging friend, Crystal –

It is simple adorable! It’s not created with Stampin’ Up products. And, I’m not sure what she used to create this ‘souper cool’ card. Either way, it made my day to receive these!
