Happy Monday!

Time for another great challenge from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge –

Here is my Design Team card –

I decided to play with this soon-to-retire Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper* this week! It is soo pretty and I just did not take the time to enjoy it.

For my diagonal in the sketch, I cut a piece (that I like both sides), 5″ x 4 3/4″. I made note of which area would be the focal corner and cut from point to point. I flipped one creating the criss cross on the card.

It is not a pocket card, although it could have been that way. The back piece is also a piece of pattern paper!

The flower head was cut from another piece of pattern paper in the pack, as well as the tag. See how pretty all the papers are?? The sentiment came from the Hydrangea Haven stamp set in the bundle. It stamps quite crisp and clear for such a tiny stamp!

Just admiring this card one more time, lol!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge!

Here is our newest color challenge –

Light and fresh colors! Love these!

I played around with the Artistically Inked stamp set creating this –

The background is an actual single stamp! I just overlapped it a few times in each of the colors!

I had several samples before I went with this one.

I added the ‘thanks’ in Early Espresso as it is softer than black.

If you look closely at the pictures, I added five of the Genial Gems on the card!

So excited to share this sweet card –

I combined my favorite new bundle from the catalog, Art in Bloom. Notice the included embossing folder and dies!

This folder has the capability of embossing and cutting at the same time!

I also used this great grayish pattern Well Suited Designer Series Paper –

The two are so pretty together!

Notice the pretty flowers? Those were stamped then die cut and embossed at the same time!

The sentiment is also from the stamp set, I just stamped it and cut it apart for the card.

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge!

Here is our newest color challenge –

These soft colors reminded me of something for a baby…..

A baby blanket!

To create my ‘blanket’, I started with the soon-to-retire, Best Plaid Builder Dies* –

I wanted the card to look gender neutral, so I used So Saffron for the majority of the card. The lines in the plaid are both cut from Flirty Flamingo and Seaside Spray.

Take note of the added stitching! It’s from the Stitched With Whimsy Dies. It took my paper baby quilt to the next level!

The sentiment is from the So Sentimental* stamp set. It’s retiring soon too.

I used the Trio of Tags* Dies for the sentiment outline. One of the best values on the Retiring List!

Happy Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!

Got another great challenge for you today!

I incorporated both the ‘more than one fold’ and the layout –

Yes, another fun fold –

Fully opened –

Soo sweet, right?

I started with a strip of Peony Garden* Designer Series Paper, it’s retiring soon. You can get three cards from one 12″ x 12″ sheet! I so love this idea!

I die cut one edge using the aslo retiring Magnolia Memory Dies* –

What a fantastic buy at $8.75, they were $35.00! These dies pair with the Good Morning Magnolia* stamp set, also retiring –

I used the Hello sentiment in a Trio of Tags die cut. I added a die cut flower and leaves on the outside from the same dies.

Such a sweet card – and soo easy!

Lots of items are retiring this month and the Clearance Rack has been updated.
