Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!
Our theme this week features an over the top card!
I’m mostly a ‘clean & simple’ gal, so this was a bit of a challenge to create!
I created a fancy fold flip card –
And, as you open it –
Fully opened –
I started with playing around with the base, 5 1/2″ x 10, which I scored at 4″ and 7″.
I used a Rectangle Stitched Die to create the opening in the first scoreline for the flip die. I also used the same size die to cut the Red Velvet rectangle.
Here is the back of the card before I covered this –
You can see the front of the card and the houses and tree through card stock.
It is a very interactive card when opened!
Here is a sneak at a matching ornament I created as well. This will be featured on a later blog hop today.
Go forward to check out Debbie Henderson, and back to Cindy Elam. I know they’ll have some great projects to inspire us!
