Looking’ Fine Grad

Got a graduate? If you do, maybe this card will work for you!

No challenges today. Although, there are lots that I’m watching……But, first things first. Graduations are occurring this weekend here where we live. So, this should have been posted a while ago, but, is was not. Anyway, this was one of the cards from my May Card Buffet.

It was a very quick, easy card to reproduce. Especially with the pre-made tassel! I just didn’t have the time to show how to make one. Although, they are quite easy. StazOn black really made this card, pop! However, school colors would be awesome too!

I must say, this was not my original card design. I changed it up a bit with these colors. I looked for who inspired me, but, I’m drawing a blank.

You’re Swell

You’re swell! Even though you lost my post for Wednesday! Sorry about that followers! Don’t know where it went……

Today, I’m sharing a lovely card made from the Dressed Up Framelits from the Spring Mini Catalog. It was another card from my March Card Buffet that did not make it for April. Actually, none of them did. I started with a clean board this month!

Nothing too fancy about this. Just a good, clean, gorgeous dress! Paper style, that it! These are so fun, these Dress Up Framelits. Paper dolls for us grownups! Wouldn’t this be fun for a shower for a bride, or a girly dress up party? I think so!

Birthday Wishes, Crystal

Make a wish lately? You have if it’s your birthday!

And, today a big birthday wish goes out to Crystal!

I was really curious to try this easel, yes easel, style card. Goes so well with the chalkboard technique going around on the interweb! And, the little layered banner – just kept adding layers until it looked just right.

I stamped the Woodgrain in Soft Suede on Crumb Cake. Then, I just started playing around until I got the look of a real easel. I think it turned out well for just playing around!
