As February ends, I forgot to share this nice little treat from January.
I planned my Card Buffet, the kick off of Sale-a-Bration, and a couple of days later I was off to Holland. It was my mother-in-laws 85th birthday!! What a wonderful time we had. It was cold, snowy, icy, sleeting, sunny – and, we even had a thunderstorm with lightening – very unusual for Holland.
The trip and visiting her could not have been a better trip. While we were there, they even had a Crea Expo which is equivalent to a scrapbook convention here in the states. However, it was huge!! So many vendors. So many thin metal dies and embossing folders. It was crazy.
There was even a Stampin’ Up demonstrator there! That was the best part. It was neat to be half way around the world and see the same crafting products I so dearly love. They very few stamps in Dutch, most in English. Of course, she had retired stamps for sale. And, I just had to get one.
Something interesting with this whole trip – the time it took me to fly to Holland – my stamp order was being processed and it was delivered the day we arrived back home! We took a fast trip.
Some of my customers knew I went, most did not.
As a treat for them, I bought Dutch chocolates. It does not even compare to any chocolate here. It’s terrific! I made these little treat bags –
Aren’t they gorgeous? Very simple, but the contrast with the red and blue was stunning. And, the Lotus Blossom here at work, again! This time, just one color as the stamp was designed. Real Red.
Makes you want to become a customer of mine, right?
Happy Stampin’
