Happy Birthday Toucan!

Here is our latest two-week challenge –

Optional Theme : Jungle Fever

I stretched the theme with my card –

Toucans are in the jungle, right? Lol!

This was such a fun sketch that I just had to take it in a fun way!

I used the Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper for most of the card, including the toucan himself! One of the patterns is miscellaneous toucans that can be cut with a coordinating die from Bonanza Dies.

The cute little toucan sits on a Stitched So Sweetly die cut shape.

And, the sentiment is from Label Me Bold. Simple, effective, and not over powering.

Joy of Sets Tic Tac Toe – March Challenge

Welcome to our March month long challenge for the Joy of Sets!

I went with Birthday, Punch, Food –

I love this tropical style card! Great for anyone!

I started with a pineapple that I had die cut from the In The Tropics Dies. it was on my desk just asking to be used!

It looked nice framed on an oval from the Stitched Shapes Dies. The framing broke it up from the busy Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper.

Since I needed a ‘punched shape’, I went with a sentiment from the nifty, Label Me Bold stamp set, stamped three times. The Classic Label Punch is perfect for this sentiment. I added it three times and trimmed the ends even with the card. Something a little different!

Congratulation Lily

Happy Wednesday! Taking advantage of some creative energies while I have them! Lol!

I decided to play around with some Sale-a-bration free items today, the Lovely Lily Pad stamp set and the coordinating Lily Pad Dies.

I got some inspiration from The Paper Players and their newest challenge –

Here is what I did –

I stamped the flowers in Basic Gray on three colors, Grapefruit Grove, Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie. Light and simple.

The Stitched Rectangle Dies and Layering Circles Dies make the Pool Party layers subtle.

The sentiment is from the Label Me Bold stamp set and punched with the Classic Label punch.

Very clean. Elegant. I think I’m going to really like this bundle.
