Todays card is very special to me. Not only did I combine a sketch challenge from Freshly Made Sketches with an actual card I needed to create, I used up some retired DSP too! Yes! (I do have a lot of it, and I am thrilled to pull it out to use it.)

I adore this card and did NOT want to give it out. That must mean it will be extra special, right? I made it for Crystal, Happy Birthday Crystal! Unfortunately, I am late to celebrate her day, so, I just reworked the card.

Here is what I worked from –

Supplies. On Your Birthday Stamp Set. StazOn Ink. Basic Black Card Stock. Ginger Blossom DSP (retired, um, sorry). 1 1/4″ Circle Punch. 3/8″ Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon.

I love to incorporate James Avery Charms into a card. This just ended being THE perfect sketch to highlight my ‘gift’. Combined with this Ginger Blossom DSP that has an Asian feel – this was way better than the Treat Cup slider I had originally made.

Baby Girls are Charming

Last week I had a baby shower to attend. It was for one of my downlines, Mandi! They are expecting a girl and big brother Seth is soo excited.

I was trying to decide just *what* to get her. So, I decided that most everyone *loves* jewelry. And, James Avery at that! I got *her* something as opposed to baby Abby something, that will come later.

I gave her a necklace –

In the picture, it’s kind of difficult to tell, but the charm is a heart that reads, “It’s a Girl”. Tried to photograph it several times……

Our Circle Treat Cups are a *perfect* way to disguise James Avery items! There is an access when the card is opened to get to the necklace. I forgot to take a picture of it. Mmmm, sorry. The card was quickly made using stuff from my stash boxes of supplies.

Congrats on Abby in the making. Looking forward to meeting her!
