Happy Tuesday! Try Stampin’ on Tuesday is taking a break until the end of the year.
So, time and energy are going to treats for my stampers!
Let’s talk hot chocolate treat holders. Searches show the same ones with a diagonal pocket and the hot chocolate slips in the pocket. While that’s a great option, I wanted a different one.
So, I created one myself –
And when opened, it looks like this –
Aren’t these soo cute??
I am in the process of making a whole bunch of these and though I should share this quick and easy idea with you!
I took a 3 3/4″ x 11″ strip of card stock and scored it at 4″, 4 1/4″ and 9 1/4″. I added the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper to the outside bottom and top flap.
I stamped a sentiment from the Warm Hugs stamp set and placed it on a coordinating circle of Balmy Blue adhered with Dimensionals. To keep the packet closed, I used a clear hook and loop coin, aka, velcro dot!
I like the colors. I tried to match the blue writing on the packets themselves. What is nice about the simple design, they don’t scream Christmas, but perhaps winter!
As you can see, the extra score line adds a little space for the hot chocolate packet to expand and close nicely!
So, what do you think? Send me some love it you like these or pictures if you try them yourself!
