Well, today is my dear Aunt Janie’s Birthday! She lives about 6 hours away from me, so I will not be able to see her today. So, instead, a special Birthday treat for her, here, on my blog.

I sent her this card –
I made it with a new set, Easy Events from the new catalog. I used the Stampin’ Write Markers in Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, and Old Olive to accent the cupcake. To make the simple border, and to make the stamped image stand out, I used Tempting Turquoise Card Stock punched with the Modern Label Punch. I then cut it in half and placed it underneath the top and the bottom. This made the white on white image just pop a bit. I used the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder for the main card base.
