We Create – Mother May I

Welcome to my afternoon blog hop! Second one for the day!

Our theme this month features card for mothers!

Today, I getting prepped for upcoming May occasions! Earlier, I did a graduation gift card holder.

Now, on to another Mother’s Day card.

I used a template from Dawn Olchefske using three 6 x 6 sheets of Designer Series Paper to create 10 cards!

I used the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper to create these soft, feminine cards.

One, I used for this Mother’s Day card. The others I’ll create cards to send to my friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge!

Here is our newest layout challenge –

I had fun with this one this week –

I started with the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper. One of the patterns has images already designed and colored! I took to fussy cutting them as my inspiration.

I designed this card a little backwards. I created the focal point first, then moved on to the rest of the card.

I went with the Dressed to Impress stamp set for the sentiment. I used my favorite, Stitched So Sweetly Dies, to frame it.

I added the make up pieces around it. Then I decided what colors looked good around it.

I thought this Tufted 3D Embossing Folder was appropriate. The thin pieces just matched the colors well.

I am in love with this card, aren’t you? Hopefully, I’ve inspired you to create with our challenge this week!

Happy Tuesday Try Stampin’ on Tuesday.

We have a fun 2 week challenge this time around –

Optional Theme : Pastel Colors

I found this challenge quite fun! I modified my sketch a bit –

My border is a bit smaller and my focal image is on the left. it still works within the challenge!

I used the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper along with the Dressed to Impress stamp set. For fun, I added the Heart Punch pack for the sentiment and pop of silver scalloped heart.

I think this would brighten anyones day! Wouldn’t you agree?

Best Dressed Floral Birthday

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge!

Here is our newest layout challenge –

I flipped through the Best Dressed 6×6 Designer Series and I was drawn to this lovely, bold floral Blackberry Bliss flower pattern. That was my starting point…

Then I chose a coordinating pattern from the same pack.

I cut the two pieces the sizes I needed and realized that I like the flip side pattern better! So the card became quite a mix of florals!

Soft Sea Foam compliments both patterns and creates such a soft, feminine card.

My sentiment is from the Dressed to Impress stamp set and I used the coordinating All Dressed Up Dies to cut it out.

I love this card. Sweet. Floral. Feminine.
