I have another Christmas share today. One that was designed for my Christmas card class but I decided on another card.
It’s really easy –
I stamped the sentiment at the bottom.
I then inked up my stamp from the Dotty Angles Photopolymer Set. I stamped it three times without re-inking. I stamped the image lower and lower each time. As a result, it became lighter and lighter. It makes for a really nice multi-color effect, but with just one ink pad. Sort of like snow falling.
I added dots of 2-Way Glue Pen to just the darkest dots and sprinkled Dazzling Diamonds on the card. It stuck adding a nice dimension of shimmer and glitter.
This sentiment is from a retired set, Greetings of the Season. I have so many Christmas sets…….don’t we all!!!
So. See. Very simple and quick. But, with very nice results.
What I really liked about this card besides it’s simplicity, is that if you’re making cards with kids, this would be a great option. Very easy. Hard to go wrong.
As I look as this and previous photos, I second guess myself about these designs and why I did not use them.
I’ll post what actually made the cut in a few days.
Happy Stampin’
