Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary challenge!

Here is this week’s new color challenge to spark your creativity –

I am feeling the love today –

I am loving this new Adoring Hearts Bundle! It comes with dies and one of those hybrid folders that will emboss and cut at the same time! Look closely at the hearts and notice the details!

I placed the hearts on a strip of Most Adorned Designer Series Paper that I received free because of Sale-a-bration! This is a gorgeous paper that one side is embossed in gold and white. The other side are reds and pinks!

Admittedly I was stumped on these colors. But I took a cue from the Sale-a-bration brochure and used a layout in there. These catalogs always have great ideas for when you are stumped.

Welcome stampers!

Thank you for joining us for our weekly Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week is cards for the guys! Great idea because we always seem to need masculine cards!

I pulled out some new Christmas paper, Shining Brightly, to create this ‘card for a guy’ –

I also used this great new multi-greeting stamp set, Throughout the Year. I sure wished I could show you that set! You will love all the sentiments in it.

I used the Tailor Made Tags as well to pull in all the colors!

I love how nothing about this card screams Christmas! Even though it is Christmas paper.

I wonder what everyone else is making for the guys?

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary challenge!

Here is this week’s new layout challenge to spark your creativity –

I flipped this layout –

. . . . creating this sweet Christmas card –

This is another new bundle, the Sending Cheer Bundle, stamp set and dies. I paired it with the new Garden Walk Designer Series Paper.

And also the Basics 3D Embossing Folder for the background.

These dies are really cool in that they cut tags! Here is what they looked like in the design stage –

You can see the die cuts are actually little tags! I just removed the loops at the top by cutting them off with scissors! I also decided the background needed something! Embossing won out!

I hope you are enjoying all the sneak peaks I am creating. There are soo many new, fun products coming in September!

Love these wintery colors! So, a sort of winterish card!

These lovely, new products are from the Fitting Florets Collection.

Here, you see the Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper. The focal point is new dies, Framed Florets Dies, and the sentiment is from the Framed & Festive stamp set. This one is until supplies last. It has more of a holiday theme.

The bow is from the Country Wreath Dies.

Not sure if you noticed this was a fun fold card.

I did add the Night of Navy to the back of the focal point to look more finished.

Our theme this week features non traditional Christmas colors.

My non traditional colors are pinks, green, and gold!

The colors are hard to photograph!

I used the Delicate Baubles as my focal point in Blushing Bride, Evening Evergreen, and Gold Foid.

I also added Melon Mambo and Polished Pink to the mix of non traditional colors!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary challenge!

Here is our current color challenge –

Such nice colors! Just look what I did!

Isn’t this just GORGEOUS and sweet and cute?!?! Oh my! I love all these details!

My starting point was these little pumpkins from the Seasonal Swirl Dies –

So, so cute! I decided the scale of the pumpkins went perfectly with the Welcoming Window bundle –

See what I’m talking about?

The base pattern is a piece of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper on a Very Vanilla card base. It looks like perfectly scaled *bricks* here!

I actually have two pumpkin topiaries next to my front door that look similar. This card just makes me squee with joy!

Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features cute Halloween cards!

I used the Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper for this bootiful card –

For these cute little ghosts, I used the Whale Punch! I trimmed away the fin and tail – soo easy to modify! (The Halloween Punch is currently on backorder, so this idea is a great alternative!)

I used additional strips of pattern paper to strike up the cuteness around the sentiment from the Cutest Halloween stamp! The Gingham bow was also a nice touch!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary challenge!

Here is our newest layout to challenge you –

I had such fun with this layout!

And, yes, I used the Christmas Cheer Dies again! Three times here!

I started with a piece of 2021-2023 In Color Designer Series Paper in Polished Pink on a Very Vanilla card base.

I placed the same color strips on top. I trimmed them after they were adhered down.

I adhered the other die cut panel. Then I placed those three die cuts on a shape from the Stockings Dies.

Lastly, I added why I was so happy! Lol, birthday seemed appropriate for the cheery, fun card!

Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features a fun shaped cards other than a rectangle.

This is a tricky one!

This is what I came up with –

BOO!

Isn’t this the sweetest!?!?!?

I used the Basic Border Dies for this sweet little ghost friend!

When I cut the curvy top and thee zig zag bottom, I used washi tape to keep them in place as I ran them through back and forth to cut through the folded card.

The eyes are from the Picture This Dies, one of the small circles –

He just turned out soo cute!

I look forward to creating more of these to send out this month! Perhaps in different sizes!

I combined a favorite stamp of mine, the Happiest of Birthdays –

This color combination is just great together! My added color is Soft Succulent.

To get this sentiment image stamped so nicely, I did use the Stamparatus. Although, this stamp works pretty well. The Stamparatus is just an extra assurance the image will come out nicely!

Since we are nearing the end of our fall Sale-a-bration, I decided to use a Sale-a-bration stamp set called, Textures & Frames –

I stamped a pumpkin with one of the shapes!!

I added a leaf from the Gift Giving Dies and a curled Linen Thread sprig!

This gorgeous, elegant sentiment is from the Heartfelt Wishes –

The Stamparatus made it easier to stamp this cling stamp set straight under the pumpkin.

I love the elegance and simplicity of this card, don’t you?

Hello my stampin’ friends! Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary challenge!

Here is our current layout challenge –

I decided I wanted to rotate the layout to this –

Because I saw this in the sketch when I looked at it –

A house!

Isn’t this so clever??

I used the soon-to-be gone Peaceful Prints Designer Series Paper. It is a Sale-a-bration choice.

I cut the ‘house’ using the lines in the pattern. Convenient that it was diagonal! One of the prints made a nifty ‘tree’, the other made a nice ‘chimney’. The background, also one of the prints in the pack, looks like a wintery forest!

I am just in love with this card!

The sentiment is from the Words Of Cheer stamp set. I taped off part of one of the sentiments to get just these words.

Our theme this week features saying goodbye to Sale-a-bration.

Well, this Sale-a-bration has just flown by! I got this Delicate Dahlias early on and haven’t inked it up much.

It is soo pretty! This is the gorgeous stamp set –

Beautiful, right!?!?

I stamped the inner of the two step stamps in Cajun Craze three times. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set, embossing the whole panel using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.

The Cajun Craze piece was embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. It just softened the card. Nice for a sympathy card!

Last, the card needed something. I thought the Linen Thread was just the thing!

Sending Heartfelt Sympathy

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary challenge!

Here is our current color challenge –

I haven’t played with the Sale-a-bration stamp set, Delicate Dahlias yet –

So I did today as these colors were perfect for this flower –

Right? Isn’t this just stunning?

I used the Stamparatus too stamp this two-step flower. First the border in Cinnamon Cider, then the inside of the flower in So Saffron, twice. It made such nice shading for this!

One of the patterns in the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper was a perfect accent to this card –

I thought these colors were nice for a sympathy card, although any of these sentiments in this set would have worked well for this card!

The Scalloped Contours Dies were perfect for all this to be placed on before the card base!

So what do you think? Pretty sweet, right?

How about this –

Yes, a candy jar! Because candy jars are found on table, lol! And, it’s a really cute card!

I punched Black Glitter Paper (yes, they brought it back this holiday season), card stock, and Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper using the Jar Punch. This is that cute paper –

Here is the Jar Punch –

I even punch lids separately! And, scored them to look as though the are real, lol!

This simply cute sentiment is from the Little Delights stamp set –

A perfect all around fall-time, or anytime, greeting set!

I almost forgot! I colored the candy in the jar with Stampin’ Blends! That was the icing on the cake for this card!

All this makes for a cute, sweet card!

I decided to let a gorgeous paper do all the work on this card –

This is the Expression In Ink Designer Series Paper –

It is just gorgeous in person! The gold accents and veins are just so pretty!

I placed it on one of the Scalloped Contours Dies with just the scallops barely peeking out!

I added strips of Polished Pink, Shaded Spruce, and Gold Foil behind the focal point. I thought the different colors added interest.

The sentiment is from the coordinating, Artistically Inked stamp set –

I love the simplicity of this!

Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop – In The Garden

Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features things from the garden on a card!

So, naturally my first thought was flowers, but I had something else in mind……

I know, I know. You’re going wha? Thats Halloween.

Here is how I connected these dots, lol. Pumpkins are grown in the garden. This just happens to be a smiling pumpkin lol!

It’s soo cute though, right?

I stamped three pumpkins from the Clever Cats stamp set in Memento Black onto Highland Heather, Pumpkin Pie, and Granny Apple Green.

I then used the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch to punch each one out. For the sentiment, I stamped the greeting and punched it using the same punch only to reinsert it to make it more narrow!

I layered these on strips of Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper –

Initially this was a standard sized card. I felt there was too much white card base showing so I made it a mini slim card measuring 3 1/2″ x 6″. This was much better visually!

I can not wait to mail this card out closer to Halloween – it is sure to be a hit to whomever receives it!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge!

Here is our newest color challenge –

These colors remind me of Sale-a-bration! But, I went with something else!

Kinda cool, right?

I used the Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment repeatedly in the challenge colors. Here’s the nifty part –

I created a nifty fold!

After stamping the full sentiment from the Thinking Thanks & Peace, I sliced the panel between the words! I popped one up on the front and placed the other one on the inside!

I really like how this turned out!

It’s fun and fresh! Wouldn’t you agree?
